TEEN TOP (틴탑)

TEEN TOP is a South Korean pop group that consists of six members: C.A.P, ChunJi, L.Joe, Niel, Ricky, ChangJo. They are under the label T.O.P. Media and were founded in 2010 by Andy of Shinhwa. They released their album, Come Into the World, on July 9, 2010 and made their debut on July 10, 2010.
On January 13, 2011, TEEN TOP made their first comeback on M!Countdown with their 2nd single, "Supa Luv", which was produced by the producer of Justin Bieber's hit single, 'One Less Lonely Girl'. The single received many positive responses and quickly went up the charts. The single had an American Pop style, while the lyrics were written by renown singer and songwriter, Wheesung. On the same day, they released their 2nd mini album, Transform.

[NEWS] Super Junior’s Siwon introduces his new family member

Singer/actor Choi Siwon introduced his new family member to his fans.

Fans can see this ‘uncle’ beaming happily as he throws up a thumbs-up sign for his new family member. This tiny dog, named Beckham, actually belongs to former Fly to the Sky member, Brian Joo. Siwon and Brian are known to be pretty close, and even refer to each other as brothers (therefore making Siwon Beckham’s uncle).

Fans spazzed over the adorable photo, as they wrote, “Totally cute! I want to raise a dog like this ㅜㅜ Is it a Maltese?” “So pretty~ it looks like a doll!” and “Doesn’t match with your appearance, this dog is so small and cute.. keke”

[NEWS] The demands of the KARA trio are finally revealed

The three members of KARA have finally revealed their demands in their contract adjustments with DSP Media, with the two main points being to shorten the contract time and having a modification in the board of directors.

With the three members having a contract that still lasts another 3-4 years, the trio has demanded their contracts be shortened to July of 2012 instead, as they would like to end their contract at the same time their contract with Universal Japan ends. They have also requested a more professional management team, as well as a transparent accounting system.

In addition, the three have requested for the resignation of the wife of CEO Lee Ho Yeon, who had been his replacement since last year after he fell into a coma. The trio would also like for a new system, whereby their legal representative could participate in the group’s accounting and contract audits.

It was later announced that DSP Media would agree to only partially meet their demands. A representative stated, “Isn’t demanding a shortening of their contract and a change in directors a bit too much? For reinforcing the management team and making a transparent accounting and contract system, if the members are willing to come back and discuss further, then there are possibilities that they can be partially accepted.”

[NEWS] B2ST’s Yang Yoseob casts in “Gwanghwamun Sonata” musical

B2ST’s Yoseob, who was recently cast for the musical “Gwanghwamun Sonata,” attended the production conference at the Seoul Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom on January 24th.

He began by revealing that he was hesitant to take up the cast offer. “When my company first asked me if I knew of any song by composer Lee Young Hoon, I realized that I didn’t. When they asked me whether I knew ‘Red Sunset,‘ I said that I had heard it before. The company told me that I could be considered for a role in the musical, ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata,’ which left me worried since I didn’t know any song by composer Lee.”

Yoseob continued, “Afterwards, I found out more about the composer and heard more things about senior Lee Moon Sae and director Lee Jina; I then wanted to take part in the musical. I’ll be working hard to ensure that I do not cause harm to the musical.”

Yoseob will be playing as ‘Jiyong,’ the son of the two leading roles.

Director Lee Jina added, “Yang Yoseob and Heo Gyu were double-cast for one role. The difference between their ages are vast, but I think Yoseob will fit the role since he’s closer to the age of ‘Jiyong.’ Heo Gyu is a bit older, but because of his youthful looks, he’ll be able to bring out the 21-year-old ‘Jiyong.’”

Over 30 songs will be used for the musical, which is scheduled to run from March 20th to April 10th at the Sejong Culture Theater Hall.
